Hi. I know, Valentine’s Day is a bit far away. I should have published these three cards before just in case they help someone to get some inspiration. But I didn’t have enought time. Let’s enjoy them now.
Here you have the video tutorial (sorry, only Spanish voice over).
To have a look closer, here you have the pictures.
Some problems appeared making this first card but I like the final result. You already know that Distress inks are great to get wonderful colour blending happiness. Adding the cardstock on top of the foam piece gets a better outcome.
Supplies: white Neenah cardstock, glitter washi tape, Inkadinkado masking paper, Heart Parade die by Simon Says Stamp, Distress inks (broken china, victorian velvet and dried marigold), Te quiero die by Micaela Ferrero, black foam, black cardstock and double tape.
This second card is conceptual, let’s avoid to say it’s weird. I used simple techniques with few supplies. Just a reminder about how difficult can be blending Distress inks on Desert cardstock sometimes.
Supplies: Neenah Desert Storm cardstock, Distress inks (broken china and victorial velvet), Inkadinkado masking paper, Heart Parade die by Simon Says Stamp, Dotted Alphabet stamp set by Simon Says Stamp and Espreso Truffle ink by Memento.
Last but not least, a more weird card. Maybe it has too many elements. The message included is a sentence from a Rihanna’s song.
Supplies: Neenah white cardstock, Basic Stitched Lines die by My Favourite Things, Lots of Hearts stamp set by Simon Says Stamp (out of catalog), Soft Granite ink by Hero Arts, glitter red foam and Label Letters stickers by Tim Holtz.
I hope you like them.
